Although this site is primarily one of a working professional photographer seeking clients, it also exists to promote the art and profession of photography in general. I've spent most of the past 30 years of my working life involved in photography and its associated fields. What's surprising is that it still inspires and illuminates my life as much as ever. There are many thousands of web sites about photography and each one is an individual view of the world. Most of the images on this site are for sale as single use reproduction rights or as prints. I believe that photographs are meant to be seen and in that light I've published over 500 images on this site. Most people, I'm sure, will use it responsibly and I'm happy for students to use images from it in assignments and projects. Some have already appeared on other web sites and I don't mind that if it's not a commercial use or if it promotes my photography. (I do ask for a credit line or a link back to this site). Bear in mind though, that I earn a living out of photography and that each image has a commercial value. If I do become aware of blatant copyright breaches I will take the appropriate action.
